Senior User Interface Developer

Overview /
Reporting to the User Interface Director, a Senior User Interface Developer (SUID) is a lead programmer responsible for developing the interface components of complex web applications with the focus on the user's experience and interactions. The SUID collaborates with the Creative department to translate visual designs, user experience and content flow into functional interfaces for client projects. The SUID authors interface logic to implement client side functionality in multi-tier applications. The SUID is proficient in optimizing, testing, and debugging applications to ensure operation, quality and conformance to creative and engineering specifications.

The ideal candidate possesses an extreme attention to detail, self motivated and high level of accountability and responsibility. We are looking for someone who is fluent in user interface technologies and can relate these technologies to enhance the creative process. The individual should be accustomed to working in a highly collaborative environment and frequently contributes their vision to the team.

Requirements /
- 3+ years of ActionScript(2,3)/Java or equivalent Object Oriented Programming language.
- 3+ years of standards compliant HTML/XHTML/DHTML, CSS and JavaScript (cross-platform browser compatibility a must).
- 3+ years developing and implementing Graphical User Interfaces.
- Exhibit understanding of Software Design Patterns, OOP methodologies and practices.
- Ability and desire to thrive in a high-pressure, client-services driven environment.
- Bachelors' in Computer Science/Digital Media or a related field, or equivalent experience.
